responsibilties

The Planning Commission plays a major role in giving advice and providing recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. They are on the front-line regarding land use issues in our township. The Planning Commissions assists in defining how the township should grow by reviewing and commenting on subdivision and land development plans and it has the primary responsibility for developing the ordinances necessary to guide future growth in North Coventry Township. Those scheduled for an upcoming meeting must provide all relative materials no later than 4pm Thursday, the week prior to the monthly Planning Commission meeting. Failure to meet this deadline will result in removal from the agenda.

meeting schedule

The Planning Commission Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at the township building. They hold their planning workshops on the 1st Wednesday of the month.
